outside? no reason to do anything but spread teh plant out as best you can relative to the area that you have... it will be swimming in photons from all angles. all growth will be strong as long as it isn't heavily shielded and low on plant - interior lower shit might suffer a bit. People get 2 kg from veritable trees outside, lol. And that example wasn't even a high DLI region. don't micromanage it. Just spread it out as best you can and the sun takes care of the rest. (obviously supplement fertilization and amend the flower beds etc...)
