On holiday just before harvest time

neighbor or friend? even if they just give some water, i'd assume the plants can handle that for a week or two. dying on the stem... cant be too much riskier than hanging an entire plant to dry, i guess? as long as climate in that tent isn't super humid or super hot etc... your lights kicking on aren't going to be a positive effect. light destroys the THCa molecule quite easily.. one thing when the plant is producing it constantly and another when it has stopped when dead. If you smoke your weed within a few months, that minimizes this effect.. you'll lose some potency but more relevant to longer term storage concerns. so, hopefully you can at least have someone unplug the light. oh... some cheap automated watering -- those bulbs with stem you poke into soil etc... something that might keep it moist enough to survive.. doesn't have to be pretty. 10 weeks usually isn't enough, so if it's not ripe, definitely find another path.
