Fabric pots folded?

I keep seeing people fold the top rim of their fabric pots inwards and can't find the reason why they do it. Can anyone explain? Thanks!

Gives it a bit more structure. also I roll mine down if they are to tall and I don't want to use all the full height of the pot.

people put not enough medium/soil/coco and just get rid of unnecessary stagnant air blockage.
