Female or male?

these days , you will never know what they will identify as until they decide to show you 😂. jokes aside once they show you their sex if female keep an eye on them to make sure they are not true hermaphrodites but it's rare.

No signs to say which as yet. There are no pre-flowers as yet either. Those long thin green growths (or "early structures") are stipules and have nothing to do with a plant's sex.

Based on the image and the presence of these early structures, it appears that your plant is showing characteristics of a female. However, for absolute certainty, you should continue to monitor these pre-flowers over the next few days. If the structures develop into tiny, teardrop-shaped calyxes with white hairs, you have a female plant. If you start to see small, round sacs forming in clusters without any hairs, it could be a male.

No way to tell yet. Seedler says looks female. I'd love to hear his explanation as to how he comes to that conclusion, but likely we wont get one....
