For me LST is more to pull branches down and away from the centre to spread out the canopy. All this is doing is holding two leaves down. I don’t see any benefits to this at the moment. It also seems to be inducing a crik in the main stem by holding those two leaves down. I would let the plant mature a little bit more before starting LST.

in future add more drainage amendments (perlite et al) to your potting mix. I don't knwo what your intended goal is here. Look like the leaves are restricted by the metal? but eh only thing you need to train are the branches that will sprout out there, you don't want to hold the leaves down as the plant continues to grow taller. "Training" is simply manipulating 'apical dominance'. The growth nodes higher up will take th emost resources. By bending somethign down below other growth, you shift where the growth occurs to the new higher points on the plant. By leveling out the stem (if bent horizontally) you level out growth across that stem -- any axillary growth will be similar if horizontal. That last thing is more for indoor growing. there's no need for that sort of LST outside. Simply bend, and shape the plant to be bushy and spread out as best you can. Some branches, if large enough, may even need to be held up due to its own weight in flower phase rather than be tied down in vege phase. Outside doesn't need much in way of training. Spreading it out is a good idea, but unlike indoors, it's swimming in photons from all angles. So airflow is your primary concern and opening it up to get light from all angles is easier to accomplish than trying to maximize artificial light inside that only comes from the top. Plants grow quite large outside, unless late in growing season, you may want to up-pot, unless you only want a 1-2 oz plant. No wrong way there, just bringing it up to ponder.

hope you are trolling, otherwise i dont get it. looking at some your current or ex grows, you already know how canna plant grows ... here its support, not LST. btw done wrong, indoors in controlled environment you can use metal as cage or so for keeping / manipulating plant, but outdoors it will attract more cold during nights, plant can suffer. add a bit more soil, make weak stem part next to ground part of the root, plant will love it . and i think most important - stop overwatering, medium looks too wet .... soil needs wet/dry cycle, otherwise roots wont develop, ph swings in pot and nute lockout or even some rot will start...
