Good evening guys, This is my first grow. On the left side: Royal Cookies Auto On the right side: Super Skunk Auto - both genetics from RQS 8 week of growing and maybe I was a little bit to motivated to get more light on the budz. Hopefully it don't break my neck..

about defoliation you got many advices, i will add : reduce temps and humidity!!! high temps - tastless bud, high humidity in flower - possible rot or mold. keep an eye on cookie - thats only strain which went hermie on me....

You didn't do anything catastrophic or anything but you honestly don't really need to worry too much about defoling a plant that small. You defol a plant when your space is full and you need to open up airflow, not when your grows pace isn't even half full.

Anything that reduces transpiration or photosynthesis is a net negative without a good reason to remove those leaves. Were the leaves causing condensation or otherwise elevating risk of a problem? If so, it may have been okay to do, and if not it was completely unnecessary and will have some negative impact on the plant compared to if you did not remove leaves. Doesn't mean it is major or anything you should be upset about, but it will be reduced or possibly take longer. random, whimsical defoliate is a bad thing. google 'too defoliate or not cococannabis' even if i spelled it wrong it should be one of the first search returns. that article will fully explain why it's a bad idea. Yes, some people blindly do it, but most people are 100iq or less by definition of 'median', so ..there's that.

Dont cut (defoliate) your ladies in flower... Just let them grow how they are at this point. Looking good! Keep them like that👍

Too late now.........but those leaves you cut off, they were making the energy that your plant requires to grow those very buds.
