Seed requires oxygen as part of its trinity. Anything that prevents oxygen reaching that seed is detrimental to successful germination. 660nm to begin germination. 72+ 70%+ rh to soften the shell and keep it soft. Soon as that thing has 2 coteloyden, it needs air air air, one of biggest kistakes is keeping humidity 70+ far longer than it needs to be.

As long as you keep your temperatures at 20~25ºC and your humidity above 65% at all times, in theroy you dont need the bag over it. Either a bag or any type of container will definetly help you keep your humidity at those high levels, keep your hygrometer's sensor inside the container so you can keep an eye on the conditions and lowerraise anything as necessary. good luck 🌱
