old hippie saying about harvest "When you think it's ready to harvest - give it a few weeks more" (extra 1-2 weeks)

I personally did not like the fabric pots. I don't know if you have used them yet but in my experience I didn't like transferring or the way they held water. Whenever I was watering them in the fabric pots, water would leak from the sides and it was hard to tell the run off. How big is your tent? If you have a 4x4 tent, I would say you have plenty of room to grow your 4 plants.

11l pots...........4 photoperiod plants..........fast results.......... Better off Sea of Green and not topping, just LST. 4-5 weeks veg then flower. Unless you have a huge tent.........scrog and 4 plants is too much, one plant and a 30 litre pot, yes, but 4 plants and 11l pots, no.

no need to experiement. More plants with a shorter vege time required to fill an area is the fastest way to do it. Yield will mostly about about DLI (daily light integral) and properly fillingn the space with plant mass -- whether it comes from one or many plants really doesn't matter much, except for the amount of vege time required. More plants, less vege time. More plants also means more diversified risk, but probably also a bit more work per cycle. Personal preferences will come into play, too. when you plant 4 plants, it's common not to see any majore issues, but if a plant has one, you lost 25% of yield, roughly. With 16 plants, you may have a couple bad plants, but won't lose as much of your canopy if you do. Plant defects are fairly common and if inbred, that probability increases. Always good to plant 150-200% or more of what you actually need, and kill off the weak ones. 150-200% of 2-4 is no big deal, but 150-200% of 16 is fair to call burdensome, lol. 24-30 seedlings... even if you kill a few slow/weak early on, that's a ton of pots to take care of.

do not top if you wanna speed, read about LST, plan it good, you will win 2-4 weeks vs topped plants. when you will be transplanting, put more soil into pot, now too big gap till verge, will be loads of stagnant air under canaopy. for future used dark cups, white or transparent gives shock to roots, they are not used for light, i used even black duct tape if had clears.

I'm kinda over fabric pots for how much moisture they loose to evaporation. They are also lilkey a plastic textile and adding to the microplastic issues of the world. Not to say the solid plastic ones are not adding micro plastics, I think they just have more re-usability and durability. I have old plastic pots from years aho, but I don't have many of my fabric grow bags left, they wear and get think in some spots. You can also just poke some holes in the plastic ones to help with air pruning, small holes, pinhole size. like 1/16th or smaller. could use a finishing nail and just hammer it in and out on softer plastics. or a hot nail on more stiff plastics. Good Luck!

If you look at my current Swiss Cheese diary, I'm running 4 plants that are topped twice with 5 gal pots in a little larger tent than you're using. That should give you a good idea on how long it might take to fill your space. I wouldn't let them stretch much vertically, your light won't be strong enough to penitrate very deep into the canopy. Toppings and SCROGs aren't gonna get you a fast harvest, better off with SOG if speed is what you want.
