if you type in the info and click save, but it's not working, that is a server-side problem. From what i hear from others, there are many ongoing issues with diary updates for the last 7-10 days or more. i'd keep a temp folder of any pics you upload or want to upload as well as copying the comment into a text file etc. Can keep it organized per week for an easy upload. then, update when the site is working properly and if it isn't you don't lose much time doing it.
