They will prune them selves when they dry out, nothing to worry about. A cheaper alternates to pot risers are wire kitchen trivets. I found some at a dollar store for 2$ where as my hydro stores sell risers for 7-12$ each. Granted only works for smaller fabric pots and not the big fuckers. but they may make mutipule sized trivets.

I’m suspecting that they lay flat on their belly in a tray all day in their puddle of pee. I’d suggest getting pot risers for your tray so that the pot can breathe underneath. You need that moisture to wick away underneath. No airflow causes issues. Check out the Gro Pro NX pot risers. They got different sizes and 5 bucks a piece. If you find them for any more than that they’re trying to fleece you.
