Hi ,im using RDWC ,with 10 part GH nutrients , water always at 5.87 pH . Last flowering i used EC at 2.0 level and it was fine , ph stayed at normal level , but now in this flowering it goes down ( this means ec is too high right?) and works well with 1.2 EC, what's the problem?

EC (ions dissolved in water) is related slightly to pH (proton-donators and proton-acceptors dissilved into water) but is not pH. you could have a very high EC and be very basic or acidic. A good soilless/hydro fertilizer should be ph-buffered and resistant to pH drift. The concentration of your fertilizer could be related to VPD. IF the VPD is higher this cycle, that could be why the plant needs a lower concentration. Also, could be genetics related. The key is it is working well? Growth is similar and healthy? then, you are fine. Try using jacks 321 hydro setup. I bet you don't have pH-drift with that product.
