Hello, I wanted to know if I can apply diatomaceous earth via foliar during flowering or if it wouldn't be recommended. Thanks in advance 😃

Absolutely not. While it is great to use during flower. it adds to the strength of the stems, and silica for tricome production. General rule of thumb is you should never foliar feed anything while in flower. BE careful with that stuff it can be really harmful to you lungs and other organs.its very sharp and gets embedded.its almost like fiberglass. i add it to my water to help balance the ph up,and to help kill the gnats but it has to be dry for it to work. i don't even like using it dry in my soil while in flower because it so light it can be blown by the fans into the buds.not what anyone wants or needs

never past week 4. Foliar application ok for 3 weeks, but not good weeks 4-10. You have buds. Water and buds = mold. I only put diatomaceous earth in the soil for insects. I don't use foliage. Good luck.

Hello. That is not recommended. Do you smoke your buds? If you put it on your plants you will end up smoking it. It very broken up shards of volcanic glass that cut the insects up and they bleed to death. You don't want to smoke it or have it around your lungs. Here's a better way... To 1 gallon of water add 8 to 10 drops of dish soap and 1 tbsp. of cayenne pepper. It will make your pot a little hot when smoked but it's way better than DE Add 1/2 cup of Isopropanol alcohol to the mix to make it stronger. The alcohol will dry out the bugs. Chuck.
