I am using a 4x4 & have not been using an intake fan. I have had to change locations & now need to use an intake fan. I am looking at the G.A.S RadAir Mixed-Flow Inline Fan 5" & the AC1 Fan Controller, just want to make sure this is the right equipment to buy before i buy it!

Potatoe, potato Fans are rated in cfm cubic feet per minute. 12 inches in a foot. Normally a 4x4 is 72-80inches high. 6-7feet 4x4x7=112cubic feet. I'd you wantto vent contents of your tent in 60 seconds you need a fan rated at least 112 cfm. Add 50 cfm for every 3-6ft of ducting. Any bend over 90 degrees will drasticlllyyyy lower output.

I'm not sure, but does the RadAir fan have a USB port to connect it to the AC Infinity Controller? I think you need an AC Infinity EC fan to connect to the AC Infinity Controller. They have rj11/12 adapters, but they are for lights. If you want to control this kind of ac fan try a smscom mk2 controller Much success 🤞and Happy Growing
