I've been growing dwc for a few years now. When I have a problem I "flush" by mixing up a batch of pH'ed water with some H2O2. Add my water to the rez with my pump through the basket so it washes all the "bad" water down into the rez. Then I let it soak for a few hours depending on the severity of the problem. Then I pump it out and put fresh water and nutes in. I've had many problems with root rot and plenum in the end it always turns out to be a light leak in my rez so make sure to cover your stones/clay pellets or whatey media your using. I use foil it's cheap and easy.

My roots look really healthy. lots of new growth everyday. Also Iv tried cutting everything but the flora trio and the problem persisted. Since I'm flipping to bloom a flush will also allow the plant to use up all the stored NPK so when I switch it will adjust faster, or so iv read. This is the last thing that I can try since iv tried everything else. I bought a new pH pen and when calibrating it, I checked my old pH pen and it had been reading a little high.

I just checked out the leaf issues you are talking about. First off I would make sure your pH is staying in range. Make sure your pH pen is calibrated if that is what you use. Then make sure your reservoir temps aren't running too high(below 72f), and I would cut out all of the other nutrients you are running other that the 3 part Flora. The Flora is a good complete feed. Also if you are running RO or distilled water then some calmag is a must. If you have all of those things in check then your plant should stay pretty happy. A flush really isn't the solution in your case. What are your roots looking like? Good luck!

You can put them in a flush solution for 24 hours but dwc usually doesn't need any flushing unless you develop a root problem. Flushing is more to remove excess salt and nutrients from your grow medium. You don't have this issue in dwc. Good luck!
