Generally, never top autos, but LST is absolutely recommended.

I typically LST but I've accidentally topped an auto or two and no issues at all. I've never topped more than once though and wasn't my intention at all either. LST is the easiest on the plant so I would stick to that if possible.

Topping , transplanting, and defoliation of autos is not recommended. I lst and selective defoliate as my auto tend to get bushy at times, since they grow pretty big.

You shouldn't top an auto if you don't have any experience with Topping in general. Try it on a photo first

just lst. your llight and a full canopy pretty much gives you the yield your environment provides for. if you are catching all the light, the yield will be there.
