Bottom feeding works, but as stated by previous posters it has drawbacks too. I bottom feed coco when it gets too dry, it gets hydrophobic at that point and doesn't absorb as well. It's also useful if you're dealing with gnats and want to dry up your top layer.

Why not mix it up and water from the bottom and the top. Could even switch each watering. One from the top, next from the bottom and so on. This way you know you’re covered no matter what

What m0use said. I would only water from the bottom with bigger plants unless your soil has gone hydrophobic. With smaller plants like this it's very easy to oversaturate the soil.

If the soil wicks yes. Some soils do not wick well. I tend to only bottom water if I have left them too long and they need time to soak as a quick watering from the top would just run through it.

yeah, but watering bottom-up comes with increased risk of problems compared to top-down. where the moisture rises to will be a zone where buildup of minerals (organic or not doesn't matter) is likely to occur over time. Far better off using any number of automated watering setups that water top-down.

Yes, you can. Place the fabric pot in the tray. The water will be drawn up into the soil through capillary action. Leave the pot in the water for 20-30 minutes, or until the top of the soil feels moist. If the soil at the top isn’t getting moist, you may need to top-water slightly.

Yes you can water fabric pots from the bottom. The fabric allows water to wick up into the soil.
