Bushy buds. Is it where I got my seeds? Or my growing?

Looking to get tighter/denser buds. Both grows feminized auto flower Ak47 & sour diesel. Both plants, buds were fanned out. Sour diesel a little tighter than AK. Using GH nutrients. Coconut coir with perlite. Added blackstrap molasses to sour diesel feedings a few times.

Definitely nix the molasses. Genetics and light. If you were giving 35-40ish DLI, then it was genetics. If you were giving as little as 25ish DLI, it might be weak light or genetics. if not going over 30C by quite a bit, probably not the heat. I haven't grown many autos, but the ones i have are not as often dense buds. that could be a small sample error.

Genetics is the main reason, but cold and low light in flower can cause your bud to be more leafy. Heat can do it a bit too, but is not as much of an issue.

Molasses is kind of useless in a soilless grow with synthetic nutrients. It’s not really doing anything. Synthetic nutrients are immediately plant available. Molasses is more used in organic soils with organic nutrients. The molasses feed the microbes and the microbes break down the nutrients to make it plant available.

Heat stress can cause airy buds.
