Is it ok to switch from distilled water to tap water? I started using distilled water but with coronavirus out there there's no distilled to buy! Can i just use tap water leaving in a bucket of water for 24h and then adjust the pH and good to go?!

If you don't have a pH measurement tool you can check on the internet if your municipality published a report of its tap water. You can then add lemon juice concentrate to get down your pH level if needed (0.1ml per liter to get ph level down by 0.5). If you're growing with organic soil it's fine if the pH of your tap water is not higher than 7.5, because the micro organisms in the soil will bring down the pH level automatically. As others suggested, if you're concerned about chlorine you can just leave it in a bucket for 12-24h and it should evaporate (you can also check chlorine levels in a water quality report)

With the minerals in tap water, I find it may throw your feeding off, depending on your strain's ability to absorb all the extra from nutes. If you can afford it, and fortunately I could, I purchased a counter-top RO machine, as I was also tired of chasing purified water, due to covid-19.

short answer ... YES! you can switch from distilled to tap whenever you want. Unless you have poison coming from tap, your plants wont mind it. I did it,I'm still doing it and trust me you wouldn't want to drink tap water here without water filter.still plants love it,really love it. just let it sit until next day and it is safe to go!

Hi @HiiluMiGrower you can buy a carbon water filter to purify the water. If you leave the tap water in 5 liter bottles, the chlorine takes 3-5 days to completely evaporate

Short answer...NO!!!! Buy a water filter I got mine for 30 $. Totally worth it. When you use tap water There are too many variables if something goes wrong. Last thing you want is questioning your water

In my Country the water Quality is great. and i can use my water for everything. Directly out of the " watertube" I have no clue whats up with your water. If there is chlorineinside, you may have to use a cahrcoil or Carbon filter, to get rid of the chlorine. Letting the water stand for awhile helps too. But iam unsure how long

What’s up I’ve used UK tap water through out my grow and had no issues at all. I advise filling a bottle with some water and leaving it with lid off to release chlorine. You may possibly have to half calmag doses. I’m only a noob myself but I hope this helps!

@iluMiGrower Hi mate yes tap water is fine if you are concerned about chlorine then filling a large bucket and letting it sit for 12 hours is enough to dissipate any chlorine

Yes you can do that without any issues. Tapwater actually has a lot of minerals like calcium that will benefit the plants. Good luck!
