It quite often happens that the stem splits, branches kink etc. Normally ist no big Thing.You can use duck tape, pipecleners, anything to help the plant .
in naturee stems and branches are kinking and Breaking to. Most time the plant repairs the Damage by ist own. In your case, i wont do anything, ( if one of the 2 branches is damaged. just pay Attention tot to breeak it complete. it will be " helaed in a week.
after it is healed you can bind some pipecleneraround the middle stem .at the base of theY ( under the "Little arms of the Y)

That is a minor break. Just keep the pressure off of it for about a week and it will heal itself. You will notice that it starts to build a knuckle there and it will be stronger than the original node. To prevent this it is best to gently roll the stem between your fingers to soften it a little before you make your bends. Good luck!

Will this tape repair a broken stem?Should I re-wrap this broken stem? Bent with too much pressure and there was a snap, though not completely severed. I applied two or three layers of duct tape, not sure if the constant pull of ties will allow it to heal and repair. When should I take the tape off?

The Westcoast Og from 420Fastbuds got hardly damaged at the Stem.
Its now 9 Days since and the Plant is growing fine, the Stem is extremely thin at one Point.
Im Afraid that the Weight will be to big for the thin part of the Stem.
