Maybe this one can help you: https://percysgrowroom.com/ec-and-ph-fluctuations-in-hydroponics/#:~:text=A%20safe%20EC%20for%20a,as%20the%20plant%20grows%20bigger
Did stick to this one a long Periode of time, was obsessed with measuring and reacting but in the end i am glad that i stopped doing so. If in coco or soil and you are having trouble its most likley to bad media, good coco (canna and cocostar for example) is pre washed leading to a better PH buffercapacity resulting in a more stable PH. Haven’t done much soil lately but im sure there must be something about soil composition in regards of a stable PH, there is good soil and bad soil, thats for sure. Don’t know if i got 00100101010…. Right but this could be about microbial activities, when microbe population grows your Ph rises, if they die off and anaerobic bacteria take the reign Ph goes down. There are additives like Silica that is able to stabilize PH a bit (the liquid one for sure, powder does ramp up PH for a while but is also stabilizing on the long run) and most important for Hydro setups is your nutrient/water reservoir size. It’s normal for PH to drift, the bigger your reservoir the longer it takes to drift
