Is that normal for PH and PPM to go up or does that mean I messed up somewhere ? and how long can I keep nutrients mixed for or will they lock after a certain time ? I made 500 ml mix of Shogun start 0.75ml and katana root 2.5ml on day 2 and been using for the week on w,f,w,w

Maybe this one can help you: https://percysgrowroom.com/ec-and-ph-fluctuations-in-hydroponics/#:~:text=A%20safe%20EC%20for%20a,as%20the%20plant%20grows%20bigger Did stick to this one a long Periode of time, was obsessed with measuring and reacting but in the end i am glad that i stopped doing so. If in coco or soil and you are having trouble its most likley to bad media, good coco (canna and cocostar for example) is pre washed leading to a better PH buffercapacity resulting in a more stable PH. Haven’t done much soil lately but im sure there must be something about soil composition in regards of a stable PH, there is good soil and bad soil, thats for sure. Don’t know if i got 00100101010…. Right but this could be about microbial activities, when microbe population grows your Ph rises, if they die off and anaerobic bacteria take the reign Ph goes down. There are additives like Silica that is able to stabilize PH a bit (the liquid one for sure, powder does ramp up PH for a while but is also stabilizing on the long run) and most important for Hydro setups is your nutrient/water reservoir size. It’s normal for PH to drift, the bigger your reservoir the longer it takes to drift

try to use up any mixed fertilizer within 1-2 days. can you stretch it longer? maybe a bit but if you consistently push that edge you'll eventually pour some sort of nasty microbe on your substrate, lol. The same for any irrigation water even without fertilizer -- 1-2 days or get weird shit growing in stagnant water. fwiw, i've kept a 2 gallon tank for 5-6 days before and nothing bad happened, but it isn't bout 1 experience... it's about elevated risk and one that you can avoid easily. use it quickly. if you water at same dryback in pots, it'll require the same volume of water and you can plan for that with minimal waste. Maybe pH to 7? if you want to try to get to 6.5 pH. For soil, i doubt you can see a difference in growth between 6.65 and 6.5 or even 6.8 or whatever slightly acidic target you are shooting for.

Typically when EC goes up, PH goes down a bit. Same as opposite. EC down PH up. However this is not always true. Ph can get fucked from something growing in the medium and turning its acidc. Some nutrients you can mix up a for a week or so. but other you can't you need to look at the brand and there directions. My fish emulsion stuff is recommended to be used within a few hours, same with another seaweed one I have as they encourage bacteria growth. But other things like some old salt based feeds I have can last for a week no problem. Shit like miracle grow. If your EC is rising then maybe you need a bit more runoff, Or to feed less as the plants are not ready for that kinda feed yet. But the plants will start to eat more and more as time goes on and then slowly tappers off later end of flower. PH adjust your feeds and water to hit the targe you want. I aim for 6.2-6.5 in soil. Hydro guys tend to aim a little lower like 5.8-6.0
