Yes, but I would have started defoliating earlier to allow the lower bud sites to have some light. Do some light defoliation to give the girls some air underneath to help prevent mold growth.

maybe some along the walls - the ones physically touching the wall will produce condensation and that will be a disease vector. Leaves do 4 really important things for the plant. They are the lungs, storage facility, light receptor and essential building block producers for growth. You want to retain as many leaves as possible. even if shielded they are providing 3 important services to the plant. If the plant has too many, it will shed leaves on its own. Removing leaves to get light on buds is folly. it's bro-science. The amount of photosythesis in leaves vs buds is about 100:1. so, maximizig 1% of photosynthesis instead of 100% is rather stupid. Also, the products of photosynthesis are highly mobile. they enter the phloem and free travel around the plant. Apical dominance is the cause behind where the nutrients in the phloem is used in greater proportions. i've been purposely covering bud sites to compare to other bud sites at same "level" the last 1.5 years just to prove the point (general apical dominance - not comparing a secondary branch to a primary and only buds of same physical height on the plant etc). These buds are no different than other buds of similar dominance. it's a myth that has been repeated ad nauseum and people believe it because it is popular. this is most definitely "bro-science". always have a reason to remove a leaf. they are essential bits of anatomy that perform a wide range of services not related to photosynthesis... but the photosynthesis alone is enough reason to follow this suggestion along witht he fact that CO2 is your limiting factor more times than not and removing leaves reduces CO2 intake.

I would definitly defoliate, Check out mine i always defoliate to provide more light to power buds, so they also become smokable, but don‘t defiliere to much at ones, you don‘t want to stun the grow, rather defoliate a couple times… only defoliate old big leaves that block light, keep in mind leafs a storage of nutriens, it‘s a tight line between provide more light through the cannopy, remove to much at once & stunning growth or remove to much & decrease photosynthesis rate… other than than all based on experience so don‘t worry too much, do some & learn… i would defoliate After the strech is done, never in streching phase…

Hi mate imo there is no point now maybe try lollypop a bit to encourage vertical growth, she looks that bushy now it would be bad to take to much off in 1 go.... Try taking batches of leaves off in the areas that are mostly congested nd covering budding sites and go from there. Not all at once. Too much stress is a no no..
