Think the purple is genetics or cold temps not a p-deficiency.
N is incredibly important to the plant. Adding a little will only help. From terpenes to nucleic acids, N is a component to many molecules in the plant and not just for 'vegetative growth' (= stem elongation and new leaves/leaf growth). It's a false belief that N is problematic in bloom or needs to be reduced significantly. As you can see, the plant is using a bunch of N and draining it from your leaves as we type.
I find about 80% of what i gave in vege is enough. YMMV due to how heavily you feed compared to me... your plant may have more or less stored up etc etc.. Lots of moving parts, but the plant definitely needs more N than what is currently provided.
You can't polish a turd. If the genetics produce frosty, sticky buds, then it should happen. Can we do somethign to influence 5-10% of the outcome? Maybe... but i don't see a lot of evidence out there supporting anything, so i stick to simply keeping the plant as happy as i can and not starving it of building blocks necessary for those oils and terpenes etc. Can't make something from nothing.
