if it is consistent, that means your buds are at equilibrium in a 60% rh environment - which is the goal. As much moisture is gassing off as is condensing on the plant material = equilibrium.
so, you don't have to open it up, but if you want to avoid brown weed / anaerobic bacterial growth, you still want to open it up maybe 1/week. It's a damned if you do or don't context. O2 hastens degredation of weed, but brown weed tastes like shit, lol. If you notice any unsual smell starting, open it a bit more frequently.
Vacuum sealing and those contraptions that allow you to fill the empty space in containers with N2 while replacing 'air' are ways to avoid burping.
because it was mentioned below, if you get any odd smells, it's probably becaue it was put into a container too soon and grew some weird shit - visible or not to the naked eye. let it dry a bit longer if that is happening.
light and o2 degrade weed over time. I find burping once a week is fine for weed you intend to use within 1 year. still potent and tasty after 12 months. longer-term you probably want to look into vacuum sealing it after it is properly dried.. wet vacuum sealed would be bad, lol.
