How to adjust the pH in a non recirculating dwc bucket???

Is it safe to add pH down to the dwc reservoir while the plants is in the reservoir. Plants are in their own individual buckets and the solution is not recirculating. How do I adjust the pH without damaging the roots?

add some acid or base, give it a little stir if your aeration isn't enough to do so.
the bubbles do stir a little, but you'll want to lift up the plant, put a few mL in and stir a second. It won't take much.
If adding enough water at the same time, mixing into that works too.
