Most efficient method of cloning for maximizing total number of clones

I've seen people let a plant get a foot tall and chop her in half, and root the top portion. I start taking every third branch, after four nodes.
Is there a proven "this is the best way"? I have 60-75% success using water and powder

That should work well. And you can flower the top portion after growing out and keep the bottom with the taproot as a mom. As long as you have the space you could have a ton. If you really need a bunch then you could have several moms. There is no best way. Whatever works best for your situation,and the plant. I have nearly 100 percent success with Clonex and rapid rooter plugs. but if doing a bunch. Seems to take about a month on average for me to get them to room in just water you can do that it will be much cheaper maybe do some with clonex gel to make sure you have some backups. then you dont have to but rockwool or plus you can just plant into soil or put into hyro setup
