I use it. It has lots of good nutrients in it. It's more to feed the microbes than the plant but there are some nutrients the plant can use it.If not doing full organic soil/soiless, i wouldn't bother. If growing outdoors I wouldn't use it because of pests(like bears). And for the most part, no one is pouring molasses over plants in the wild. but a little bit in compost teas throughout the life of the plant will keep the microbes working hard. Dont think it's going to make or break your grow though. It's cheap enough and seems to have good results so I use it. I've never got mold from it. You need to dilute it well and it shouldn't mold. Like mentioned there are better inputs you could be using before molasses. I use those things as well, and they are great. Just a little bit is good and more so, if overgrown and huge than a smaller plant that has plenty of space to grow.its overkill at that point
