The cold temps will cause your plants to stagnate, it will not cause extra trichomes! Harvest now............the plants seem well and truly mature enough anyhow.

Cold Weather does not help produce trichomes. Light does in conjugation with nutrients. And even if you meant terpenes its also a myth. The cold temps just prevent them from off gassing as much so you smell them more, but the temps don't contribute to an increased production of them. If anything cold weather under 10c or 50f slows overall plant growth trichomes/terps combined. 17f is -8c... that's below freezing and cannabis does not tolerate frost well, it is best to chop and harvest before a hard frost hits. If they get hit with a hard frost all the leaves turn to mush. does not make for a pretty dried bud, looks like wilted lettuce.

The cold weather is just a nice thing! It boost the thricomes production in the last week of flower! And may also make the flower and leaves change colors because when it gets cold some strains develop purple and red colors. And the windy part try to make them a bit wind proofed. Use some sticks in the ground and bind the branches to it prevent the branches to break 😃💪🏽 And you are good to go to harvest in 7-10 days 100% Good luck my friend 🤩
