It’s because of the light. You need to have it pretty close in the beginning. After 14 days you can put it up a bit. All depends on the manufacturer what they say their light need to be in. It has nothing to do with the potting hole. You only need to bury the seed 1cm deep. Do this, Lower your lamp. Put more soil in ur pot to prevent the stem for tipping over. She is stretching because she is looking for light! If you give her to much light she will start to tip over because she is hiding from the light. So that’s a good indicator that ur lamp is to close. Good luck my friend. More soil and lower lamp 🤩💪🏽💜

Plants can not grow properly without light.............yes, you need to turn the light on. Plant this seedling into a pot and bury it to half way up the stem.

Might not have buried it far enough down. has helmet head. Its also stretching a lot because of that. but also because their is little light hitting it. Plants feel like. and when they can feel it, they grow more in hopes they can.

Start with 1-2 hours and feel the shell.

You can put some wet paper towel around the seed shell for some time to moist it up so you can carefully remove the seed shell. But with very steady hands. I actually ripped my whole leaves of once. But it survived. Good luck 🍯

Two things are happening here. You have the seed casing stuck on the plant, you need to drop some water on it and get it moist and hope it comes off or you will have to gently manually remove it. Doesn’t look like it’s getting enough light. These seedlings will stretch far to get enough light and that is what it looks like is going on here.

The shell is still on the seed and if it has dried, it's probably gotten stuck. You can try put a drop of water on it to maybe soften the membrane and shell to help it slip off, but might need a little more help and you run a big risk of damaging or killing the plant. Keep your seeds damp until the shell comes off. Planting too shallow can have it pop up and dry out before it's come out properly. Some seeds just have a thick shell and struggle to split.
