As someone who has been growing for 40 years, I can definitely say that stopping all fertilizers/supplements 10 - 14 days before the expected harvest date produces a tastier, smoother smoking and cleaner end product! Keep watering in normal amounts and at normal intervals with plain water right up until one day before harvest day is just fine. "Flushing" your plants with huge amounts of water is not needed and does not benefit the end result in any way. Placing plants in complete darkness for an extended period, like 24-48 hours,is also ghetto science and not beneficial in my experience. Same goes for products marketed as "rinse/flushing agents" for plants, just expensive snake oil...........plain water is all you need to use.

The last 2 weeks I like to start making the days shorter. Like 11hrs lights 13hrs darkness week b4 last then the last week dial it back to 10hrs light 14 hrs darkness. Drying and curring your flower is key to a good harvest make sure to have everything you need like trimming scissors trays and stuff to do all the trimming. Make sure to get enough of the mesh drying racks for all your flower. You will need mason jars and smll humidity reeders for all the jars. Humidity packs are helpful aswell. Having everything ypu need before harvest will make it way less likely you get some rot or have bad taste img flowers.

You dont have listed what you feed your plants. Liquid nutes, follow your feed schedule. Organic dry nutes, your plant will tell you when its done. Your food will run out and she will show you colors. If you are like me, you over feed and get colors after a flush. 🤣 Mrgrowit on YouTube has amazing information. Plus guides on here on the blog! Happy growing and beat of luck! 💪🤘

don't stop fertilizing unless you are currently creating toxicities in the plant. Blind taste tests show people have no clue which flower was flushed or not. Even more damning is that mineral content of flower from a 'flushed' plants is no different than a non flushed plant. molecules are in same ratio / same content in the flower which means the taste really can't be different due to too much Fe or whatever, lol. That's not how cell differentiation works. Flowers are for sexual reproduction, not storage or energy production. Keep the plant healthy. If you want to be lazy you can let it cannibalize itself with water-only irrigaiton for 10-14 days in soil.. maybe 5-7 days in a soilless substrate context. But, don't think it somehow is improves the outcome.

High W4tch2gr0w, It is really easy, you water without nutrients but with the right pH. Next to not using any nutrients you do not change anything in your watering behaviour. Happy Harvest Buddy! 💚

I would go on with normal feeding shedule +1 day, since the plants need a bit less. everything you feed her in the last week, has pretty much no impact, as long as you feed her something. There are leftovers in the soil. So you could use only water in the last week, many skip on Nutritions the last week. Its also smart to time the last watering in a way you watered her 4-5days before harvest, so shes not starving but rather dry, speeds up the drying process and therefor quality.

pro tip: Dont listen to any bro science... Keep watering her normally till the end, she might need less water but not irrigating is a bad idea. Harvest at the end of a night period. Keep it simple :)

It’s interesting to note that even in this cannabis flushing research study, there still is no clear indication of whether you should flush cannabis plants and the impacts it has as a result. https://www.rxgreentechnologies.com/rxgt_trials/flushing-trial/ flush is a myth in healthy garden.
