They have been tinkering with the website lately. Probably related to that. Not an unusual thing for various functions to intermittently have issues around here. Happens several times a year every year for as long as i've been around.
I had the an issue the other day adding the previous week to diary. It said "couldn't save" or 'error saving' - something to that effect. Second attempt it somehow worked.

Likely a site error as GD is about as efficient as a toddler colouring within the lines. They like to "express" themselves and make a fucking mess lol

Can always copy any text to a temp file and stash the weekly pictures in a folder until the site starts to function better.. save yourself a headache.

I feel your frustration. Starting a diary can be intensive enough, with all the data one might be entering. Having to do that three times is harsh.
Are you 100% sure it saved? You received the green popup in the upper right hand of your browser that the diary is "saved"? Sometimes I click "save" but close the screen too soon, before the popup appears and the new entry doesn't get saved.
