Most things have to go right to do 50-60g/sq ft. Using clones of a strong plant can help greatly.
I just had a herm, so 1/10th of my canopy just went poof. I have a weak plant that's not going to pull it's weight too. My yield is down at least 15%, and it's still several weeks from harvest. Maybe 1 or 2 more don't form the type of buds i expect...
Don't overcrowd. Only need about 3 colas per sq ft. With a sog, are you filling the space or is it crowded? May need a couple more plants. If a sog doesn't grow tall enough, you lose depth on canopy which could impact yield.
Don't defoliate without good cause. if i recall you are big on that from other answers to grow questions? Leaves are supremely important. Even shielded leaves are value-added. it's a myth that somehow cutting off leaves allows the plant to focuse more on flower or anything else- this is simply wrong on all levels and not an opinion up for debate.
You can definitely get an lb out of that tent. a (2) 2x2 plants can be 200-250g with the right genetics.
DLI is DLI.. it doesn't matter if it comes from spiderfarmer or HLG. there is no different quality of light. Especially nowadays with full spectrum lights being nearly identical across PAR wavelengths.
There is higher efficacy and that will directly impact g/watt metric. High efficacy lights can hit 1.5g/w and upwards of 1.7+g/w in ambient CO2 conditions. If you use an HPD, you barely get 1g/w if you do things well but same grams per square foot production. Low efficacy lights shouldn't impact yield, assuming the extra heat does not cause a problem. If a light has a high price and mediocre efficacy, it's over-priced trash.
