This seemingly happened over one single night. Could this be caused by rough handling or a singular fly? Other plants are fine, no pests.

Smaller than fruitfly or gnats I have one of these in my tent, so small that I can't even take a picture of it, it's grey-ish, looks like a dust particle flying through the air. There was a tiny spider near my plant ~2mm in size which I removed but they don't eat leaves do they?

That doesn't look like it's been chewed by a bug to me. Spiders don't eat plants, they eat bugs, so they are helpful to have around unless they start to make a lot of webbing.

Weird eh. As mentioned if it doesnt happen again dont worry. Investigate your other plants (house and pot). Did anything sneak in from your outdoor crop. But yeah might have just a rip if you have been rough. Did she get caught in a zipper

it's also possible something came buy, took a few bites and moved on. i doubht you have caterpillars and snails inside your house? This looks like a bigger insect or caterpillar etc. If it's one-off damage, not a concern. if you see more, that's obviously something chewing on your plant and it likes the taste.

Rough handling can definitely cause leaf damage. Usually insect like caterpillars, worms, crickets, beetles, etc eat leaves. Do you have other plants? I would check all plants and leaves and see if there's any similar damage anywhere. Spiders don't eat leaves, at least the ones I've come across.
