with a really late growth of pistils you have a personal choice to make. either wait for the new growth to ripen, which means the old growth will be over-ripe, or don't put too much importance on it and harvest when the old growth is good to go.
also, don't bother scoping trichomes on leaves. they don't matter. some plants don't amber up.. if it's all cloudy, it's probably fine. plastiic vs glass is another good way to assess trichomes. if they look like glass it's still early.
