when you take off more than 1/3rd (doesn't matter what people call it, pruning is pruning) you risk shocking the plant or having some sort of averse reaction to the stress. not a gaurantee, just higher risk.
If your flower phase takes expecially longer this time, good chance it happened... if the schedule remains roughly as expected, then all is well.
people strip plants in flower all the time, so i wouldn't worry too much.
just don't do it because you think it 'redistributes resoureces elsewhere" or "allows the plant to focus on the buds" because that's bro-science nonsense.
A well-manicured canopy can reduce relative proportion of larf. that should be the only goal. Strip to 2-3 nodes at the 'right' time and the rest of the stretch should give you 18-24" zone of good buds, if not over-crowded. timing varies by plant due to varying growth expectations after flip to flower.
