Lotus Nutrients Carboflush Question

Moth660
Moth660started grow question a month ago
Hey all I have a question about flushing while using Lotus Nutrients. My plant will most likely be ready by 8 weeks but I'm supposed to use Carboflush the last 2 weeks. Should I just follow the feeding chart or does anybody have different advice? Thanks!

Pretty much every nutrient line makes a finishing or flushing agent. They're mostly just PK boosters under a different label. The Lotus one is just an assload of potassium(NPK 0-0-12). During those last couple weeks the plants take up more water than nutrients anyway so it's mostly just money down the drain. In soil/Coco, I typically just give plain water the final week. In hydro I begin topping off with just watetvonce I see signs the plants aren't really feeding anymore, aka EC dramatically rising.

I’ve used it as per the feeding chart in the past. Just follow the chart if you’re going to use it. But Lotus nutrients are shit and I will never use them again. I’m with m0use on this one.

bwahah "carboflush" sure.. whatever. sounds like some magic nonsense. you should flush anytime it is warranted. Whimsically doing so is not smart. there should be a reason to flush a substrate. Do you have a root zone issue? is th enutrient content out of balance and causing major issues in the plant? Cause to an effect.. not 'do it the last 2 weeks because some mope said so" marijuana brands are usually run by some unprofessional wannabe with no business acumen. you should continue to feed a well-balance diet. Mid to late flower you may need to dial back a bit. The plant will tell you - deficienies and toxicities will arise if something is out of balance. follow the plant, not some nute schedule maximizing profits.

not needed. its just a money grab. If you already have the product then use it. but do not buy it. On a side note. Fuck Lotus and their parent company "grow strong industries". they are bunk and way overpriced. seen a few ppl using their nutrient line to the "T" and its not great. I was gifted some direct from the manufacture, and it was garbage, Quality control was fucked, some of the fertz looked off, contacted them. they said its normal and when I started having issues they said it was not their product but it was the only thing being used. Im sure the product coming pressurized and hissing when I open it is not normal. and then other things not being sealed is also not normal. but they don't care.

Unless you are flushing to reset your Ph., flushing at harvest to possibly improve taste, and smoothness, has been shown through studies to be simply untrue, a gimmick that I guess it was ok to leave in there so long as people are still coughing up the cash for useless relabeled pk boosters.
