Heizmatte in 15-20m2 Raum brauchbar

Kommt vermutlich auf die Heizmatte an… meine Erfahrung mit einer kleinen Heizmatte zur Anzucht, hilft teilweise. Bei photos wo ich im Wasserglas keinen lasse und im 0,5l Topf starte hilft das, aktuell bei Autos im 11l starttopf hat die Heizmatte garnichts gebracht weil die Wärme nicht oben ankommt wo der Samen liegt. Ich würde aber einfach die Lampe mehr aufdrehen und dann den Abstand so erhöhen das die Ppfd Werte wieder passen. Dann wird’s auch wärmer im Raum.💛🏼

Also, kommt darauf an, wie kalt es ist. Jetzt stehen die Toepfe ja auf dem Boden und geben so viel waerme ab, ich wuerde die einfach erst mal hochstellen und gucken wie es dann ist. Heizmatte wo die Pflanzen drauf stehen geht auch, ist aber viel Arbeit zu gucken, dass es wirklich nicht zu warm wird und du den pflanzen damit nicht sogar schadest. Beyond using them for germination, heat mats aren't necessary. Think about it, if you dig a hole outside and feel the soil it's generally a bit cooler than at the surface due to the insulative qualities of the ground. If you're growing in a cool room, I'd suggest considering using an HID style light. LEDs are fine to use in a warmer space but don't perform as well in cold temps. HID lights are older technology but was really the gold standard for growing until about the last decade when LED performance finally started to catch up. The HID light will help warm your space without having a add heaters, etc. I grow in a cold basement and have decided to go that route myself. My IPower 600w should actually be arriving today. =)

I have found heating mats improve consistency of germination / sprout times. A much larger portion of my plants sprout in a smaller frame of time. I grow in cold months, so it makes a big difference for substrate temperature. I don't use it after seedling stage or once a cutting is well-rooted. It's helpful when paired witha dome to create a micro-climate for plants that need higher RH%, too. Much cheaper than trying to control climate of entire room, and if indoors, unusually high RH is bad for your house anyway. If the substrate is ~76F on its own, you won't need one. Also, you don't continue to use it beyond those early stages. I am very glad i finally bought one. The consistency is useful. Do get one with a thermostate probe, otherwise it's a crapshoot with the temperature. If you live in a warm climate, may not gain any benefit from it.

Wenn der Boden kalt ist, bringt das natürlich etwas. Ggf. reicht auch schon eine isolation unter den Töpfen, dass sie nicht direkt auf dem kalten Boden stehen.
