Start LST when you have approx between 4-6 nodes. Top, bend. Good luck

Before you start doing things, make sure you have a target/goal. How many vertical colas do you want? (rhetorical) Work backward from that target. Don't just train or top whimsically. More is not better when it comes to a canopy. Overcrowded is nothing but a negative. This will help you choose when to LST. Anything below the bend will be trash, so don't count on it.. in fact prune it off after LST.
