First grow is coming close to an end. How much longer would you guys say for these buds before harvest? Trichomes looking mostly milky white with around 20% amber

More ripening needed before you bother scoping trichomes. Hairs are "long." The calyxes still have to fatten around them more. Are you looking at trichomes on leaves? that would explain why you see amber trichomes. This is too early no matter what. And, I prefer an early harvest window for perspective.

Another couple of weeks. 6 weeks of flower would be a minimum for me. Trichome color on the bud is what matters, not the leaf. Any amber in the bud area and she is about done. The more you grow the easier it becomes to recognize maturity. Pistols become mostly brown. The leaves fade in color and the smell usually intensifies.

Still a fair bit of white pistils for my liking. prob another week or so. Best to judge harvest time by a few factors. Pistils, 80% dryback Trichomes, mostly cloudy. your mix of amber is personal preffrence Bud Density, want buds that are done growing and are as dence as they will get, Water/feeding, plants that are not drinking as much are ready for harvest as they are in their end stages.
