Why are some of my young plants still moist when 70% the others are begging for water… Growing in coco only in solo cups atm untill i transplant.

Within your grow space there will be variance in your conditions, temp, humidity, air flow. That combined with some plants feeding harder than others, etc. Since it's coco it doesn't really matter as much compared to soil. I'd just water everything on the same schedule out of convenience.

Not all plants are the same. Growth rates vary. No matter how hard you try there are also differences in how the substrate is constituted or maybe more/less runoff is occurring... it's never the "same" for each pot no matter how you feel about it. You should be able to water at a point where it is safe for all, even if some are not as dry as you would like.

Gotta agree with @Scrubbyjimbob, I also find some plants grow out their roots faster and that causes them to drink more vs their peers, however by the time they are in larage pots and well into veg it should be even. solo cups should only last a few weeks before they get transplanted. Not a lot of medium to grow out of in there.
