Hello everyone I wonder about one thing. Sometimes I get the so-called "cali" burning very hard and testfull buds. With what seeds can I get this effect without using PGR

Stay away from mainstream breeders and use double the light people usually recommend :) Buy seeds from high end breeders and go for popular tried and tested strains instead of new releases, and learn to feel good about paying +20€ per seeed. I've never seen Cali weed being close to being close to being as good as high end strains grown at home. In House Genetics is my go-to breeder, especially Platinum and Jelly Breath crosses rock. Exotic genetix, Ethos genetics, Cannarado, Seed Junky, Bloom Seed Co., and BeLeaf are also great breeders. Growing your own means you get to try different stuff and find your own favorites, enjoy the ride :)

If you're asking this question then you likely already have a good idea of the answer. IMO, strong pedigree of the cut and living soil is the tried-and-true method for the highest of quality crop without PGRs. PGRs are unfortunately everywhere these days. I personally don't have a problem with them, the problem is much more localized to specific cultivars. Commercial facilities will often rely heavily on PGRs in place of strong fundamentals when cultivating, leading to the mysterious unpollinated white seed shells. This is an area where I expect botanists to be informing the cannabis market more, as there are literally theories in botany which when applied dictate the tradeoffs of using a PGR. Some strains grow fine with a PGR in the feed schedule. Most lines have a PGR in them. What do you do? Telling you to not use PGRs is a tough ask unless you can dedicate yourself to living soil. I view the reality of PGRs in cultivation the same as chelated salts - it delivers but in a perfect world we'd be going down an entirely different path.

Both genetics and environment are important for plant growth, and they interact in complex ways. Genes determine a plant's inherited traits, such as how quickly it grows. Gene expression is sensitive to many environmental factors. The genetic factor determines the character of a plant, but the extent to which this is expressed is influenced by the environment. Same way a 5,8 bodybuilder can still be jacked and huge but he will never have genetics like a 6,8 monster. If you want thick fat buds without pgr, you need to learn to push the limits of growth by stressing the plants to its limits. Study hard, knowledge is only thing that will get you there.

its more about the genetics of the plant. You can grow it perfectly with light, feed, air movement RH temps. but if the genetics of the plant aren't all that, it just can't magically become quad A cali grade bud. Its why breeder clone cuts are a thing. The genetics of the plant are the ceiling that dictates how well it could potentially do. Now if you have a really good cut and the plant grows shit, then you know its your style or treatment of the plant when its growing. PGR's aren't great. but they offer shortcuts to users who want the bag appeal without the skill set. I would avoid them at all costs.
