Nobody knows your personal preferences. Get what sounds good. Autos are great if you need to avoid a wet season that coincides with a photoperiod's finish being controlled by time of year (length of night). If you don't need to depend on that and don't have a flood light or neighbor's flood light causing light pollution i'd recommend photoperiods. There's no benefit to the autoflower if you don't have light pollution or if normal flowering season is too risky for bud rot and other pathogens etc.

Photoperiod plants are much more suitable for outdoors, autoflowers really need the long day length of indoor growing to get acceptable results. Autos grown outdoors tend to stay small (this may be a good thing, especially for balcony grows!) and generally yield poorly in my experience, especially if the weather is mild. If growing autos outdoors, plant about 3-4 weeks before the summer solstice so that they get the maximum amount of available day light/day length. If space is an issue, planting photoperiods at the same time - 3-4 weeks before the Summer Solstice - keeps them to a managable size and they will out yield any autoflower on the market and finish in the same time frame too. Having grown nearly every Sweet Seed strain on the market, I can recommend every one as an excellent performer. Easy to grow, stable genetics, potent, productive..........they are all good. Pick whatever strain you fancy, you will not be disappointed with whichever strain you choose!

Some Questions. self-flowering outdoor = autoflowers grown outdoors? natural resources = amendments like rock dusts and manures/composts and stuff? I don't see a problem with any of this. Its best to premix the hole where you plan on planting with everything it may need. I do this outdoors with chicken manure and some Gaia Green, its a mix of rock dusts a bunch of other whole ingredient things that take time to break down and become available to the plant. It helps build up soil life. Mid was though you might want to top dress all around the base of the plant for some extra nutrients. I have not grown sweet seeds before, but have heard some things. Just look at reviews of the strains your thinking of growing. Autos tend to be sensitive to some things like stress, so plan for loss and grow more then what is needed. can kill off the extras if needed. Some strains do well outdoors, others not so much. hit n miss. I would aim for direct planting and protect them baby plants from birds with spikes and grates. In my aria the fucking starlings love plucking out my weed plants. I really like autos outdoors as they finish before the rainy season sets in my area that fucks over a lot of photoperiods.
