You could squeeze the stems a bit, it will heal and get stronger. Would not recommend on Autos because it stresses them.

Hi, it will get thicker over time. Do you have a fan on? The air, or the wind, also helps the stem get thicker. If you let the fan run for a few hours a day, but make sure it's not blowing directly on the plant, just enough to make it tremble slightly. This way, it will be more stable, and the stem will get thicker and stronger.

It will thicken up - according to genetics. Some stress, like wind, can help but it won't have a dramatic effect compared to geentic potential. Your stem is plenty thick for its age. You already have a fairly tight node spacing, so i wouldn't give it any more light (causes shorter, thicker internodes). How many branches do you need originating from the same 6" length of trunk? You'll just end up with an over-crowded canopy on that pace. also, anchor base of any LST so you don't tug on roots or bend through the soil as it resists over time.

Silica will toughen the cells..Will make the stem wood like if given enough... Hope this helps.

Various types of training and appropriate inputs of light and nutrients, and time. The ol' rub it in-between your fingers to gently break the cell walls is as rough as I'd go with LST. Over time the trunk will be thicker, implying more capacity for water transport and thusly growth.
