if it was a pest, you'd typically see some glistening "honeydew" around the edges of the damage - their loose equivalent to spit. this looks more like physical damage like the others said. drips of ferts? too warm or dry?

Reminds mechanical damage, from too intense wind or you touching. Its still ok. Very small possibility, that you have some pests...
