I havent done any lst or trimming. Flipped to 12/12 a few days ago due to lack of space. Should i leave them be or should i give them a little trim?

The guys that get 50oz off 1 auto take 95% of the leaves off on wk5 which is the start of flower so people that claim the plant needs them are talking nonsense,Iv told them but they refuse to listen. The plants looks ruined with less than 10 leaves on.I dont recommned that but the plants clearly respond really well to heavy defoliation.

Don't F with them. That bushy one is so healthy, good job. If you must lightly defoliate some shade in about 3 weeks.

No need to defoliate............a bit of LST, certainly. Apical dominance influences bud size more so than light intensity......fact.

I would have at least topped them a week or two before flipping to a flowering schedule. You could maybe do a little cleanup at the bottom for airflow but no need to do anything drastic yet. Let them stretch a bit first then reevaluate. Untopped plants generally don't require as much or possibly any defoliation because they don't get as bushy.

I'd do a bit of LST but i would not defoliate a plant that small. Just a overall net negative. If the plant want to drop the leaves on its own, it will do that all by itself. more leaves = more engery = more buds normally.

As long as she is healthy and ready for a fun night, wait till the three week mark after flipping (or a few days after) then take absolutely everything from the bottom third of the plant and likely bud sites from the bottom ~1/2 almost. Then lollipop around 3-4 weeks from finish if you want. Probably pluck some leading up to harvest to make life easier in the coming days. That is usually my bare minimum touches on a plant.

Theres no scientific evidence that's shows buds sites do just as well when they're covered up.Theres certainly no scientific evdience that proves they do better but anecdotal evidnce shows they do a lot better the more light they get.Common sense would suggest it does matter where the light hits otherwise the buds on the bottom would be as big as the ones on the top.Its not scietific its common sense. The buds at the bottom arent as big because they dont get as much light but people would have you believe that isnt the case.A lot of educated people seem to have a problem with common sense.Do you need to be common to have common sense because I'm certainly common.

No reason to remove leavs from those plants. products of photosynthesis are allocated due to apical dominance and freely flow around the vascular tissue. where the light hits is mostly irrelevant.

Any heavy defoliation is ok within the first 2wks of flower or when she stops her veg growth which can sometimes be as long as 20 days into flower but mostly 2wks.

You want to take several leaves off each.Let the light get at the second and third nodes, bud sites and you could end up with 1 bud 10inches long instead off 3 inches long.Don't take any notice of people that claim defoliation is bro science then go on to talk about their bro science theory about the plant needing every leaf and no information out there can be trusted even though you have people like the main breeder of 420fast buds recommending it along with the majority of breeders along with those guys that get almost 50 oz off 1 auto. How could anyone claim they shouldnt be listened to,its insane. There's no telling some people. They'll read this comment and get all hurt but they should stop giving people bad advice.Look at their diary and look at mine. You can see 1 of my plants has a dozen 30cm buds because I stripped over 50% of the leaves off.

Hi bud. Perhaps a couple of leaves could have been removed to let light down lower, but now that you have already triggered her to go into flower, I would hold off. If there are leaves that are an obvious problem, you can remove those, but no defoliation until the stretch is done. That could be in about three weeks. Other than that, grow her out. Listen to her. Keep her happy. Take notes, and enjoy the run :)

you don't need 200w when you start flowering, don't listen to everything people say :)

Honestly if you’re new to growing I’d just let them ride out and you can watch how a plant grows. Also I would suggest maybe letting on plant just grow normal and don’t touch it the other plant keep the bottom 2 sets of strong branches s0 4 branches in total then chop of the next to rows of branches so chop of branch’s 5,6,7,8 then go thru the remaining branches at the top and cut off the smaller ones and just cut them so it seems they have a little bit of room to grow and not all on top of each other. Also it seems like you don’t have a very big light you really need atleast 200w when you start flowering but if you can’t go buy a big grow light I’d suggest putting a couple smaller lights on the sides of the plants. When you look at the plant from the side view anything that is in the shade is not going to flower. Also I would cut off most of the lower fan leaves in the plant you experiment on
