Its very rare for hobbits growers to get TMV. I think you have better chances of having MS then your plant does of having TMV. I have not looked into HLV or Hop Latent Viroid, maybe their is some merit to the claim but till you look into it, a grain of salt. Cannabis is very interbred and some weird shit happens when that's the case. I have seen odd variation on leaves and almost always they grow out of it. If they don't maybe its a bad mutation on the plants behalf or caused by some external factors like environment/nutrients or a pathogen like a virus/bacteria. You can give your seed a quick wash in peroxide to help kill off any nasies on its shell but its not really needed IMO. the medium has a lot of life in it, best ti support the good microbes to fight off the bad ones. Or thats my school of thought on it. I would not worry to much about it and keep growing them out, just monitor and confirm your inputs are on par for the age of the plant. Eg not overfeeding over/underwatering, to much or to little light PH EC exct..

IMO - too much nitrogen and the start of the plant reacting to it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

after looking into HLV a bit. I would also say this is a no. It does not tend to cause discoloration but more dwarfing of the plants with diminished returns on it. hard to detect it in veg and even in flower their are few sysptoms and they would easily be mistken for a defencity vs HLV. https://medicinalgenomics.com/hop-latent-viroid-in-cannabis/

It's an interesting mottling pattern but I don't think it's the virus. With the virus you'll also typically see leaf deformity and weak growth too. It will probably grow out of it.

More common is hlv they say 90% of Cali plants are infected with hlv. There is a good chance getting hlv I always side with caution and when my seedlings pop up the plants with really small leaves to start I toss those away. Also I make sure to always sanatize scissors between using them of different plants

Maybe the soil has to much nutrients Mosaic virus does not attack itself to weed seeds. The only way to get it on your plants is from another plant or possibly mishandling the seed when germinating but even with germinating the virus has to be on your hand. From my understanding it’s not that common to have that virus unless your growing outdoors or you bought clones from someone and introduced new clones to your garden I don’t think it’s that common to just randomly get it from your hands during germinating I’d wait a bit and make sure b4 tossing the plant

It's not anything to worry about, it's either a slight pH imbalance or the soil is a little bit too pre-fertilized, or it's simply just genetics. It'll most likely grow out of it and if it doesn't it'll probably grow just fine anyway. I've gown many plants that looked like that with no problems, I've even grown super wierd mutants that were keepers, you never know which ugly child will grow into a cover girl :)

Would be obscenely rare, like you're going into a textbook and need to link with local botany phds. Labs that have suspected TMV sampels sent in typically find nothing, or hlv
