Have fun with it.
Practical advice:
1. your VS1000 is going to at best have a 2x2ft PAR footprint that is acceptable for good flower, might be best off throwing your plant/fixture in the corner of the tent. Some may say good flower is subjective but I think we all know good flower when we see it/smell it/taste it/use it. Follow manufacturer's recommendations for distance closely. Delivering that appropriate amount of light is going to lead to better crops (taste/smell/density).
2. not all breeders/vendors are equal, with the changes in the industry have come the vultures in packs
3. don't stress them young
4. basic recipe for me is to be careful when young, not mess around in veg much at all, flip them/guide them during preflower into their frames for flower rather than train them into the frame I want, do nothing stressful to them for the first 3 weeks of flower (preflower), defoliate the bottom third of the plant at 3 weeks in, give them a week or two or three, then lollipop them about 2 weeks from harvest, harvesting for max potency (not waiting for x% amber)
Start getting comfortable with your environment and procedures. How often are you in your rooms, what is the average temp/RH/VPD day versus night, learn how to buffer your water correctly (and why we do this; see absorption ranges for macro/micro nutrients for cannabis along the pH scale), pick a nutrient line or vendor and stick with them for a while, try to even stick to a single cultivar for a while. Your routine and efficiency and eyes for growing will increase slowly over time, don't rush it. Even the folks with living soil beds that are 20 years old are still learning stuff. Your grow style will emerge naturally IMO.
