many other plants have different flavor profiles for the same species of plant. Apples, Tomatoes, Basil, Grapes, also not a plant but Cheese milk/bacteria. When human get their little finger in it they make it messy and mutation come out that we go "o wow" lets do that again and again and shit gets diversified. Tomes are best example I think for visual difference. many flavors and sizes. beefsteak, slicer, cherry, currant and from wild ones to heirloom to commercial. apples and grapes are good for taste difference. so are tomatoes but not as much as apples or grapes I don't think. Basil too. lemon/lime/thai/holy/blue/anise/calssic tons of options.

Hello. Look into the history of cannabis. It's been grown around the world for thousands of years. Just in the Kush valley there would have been variations in the taste and high even back then. Then the farmers would cross different plants with their neibour, and only grow the seeds from the best plants next year. Then world trade happened and you get all the hemp that was grown for rope and sacks getting stronger. Then they started crossing the indica strains with the sativa (hemp) strains to get where we are today. There's the old story of how the plantation workers noticed the birds acting funny after look for seeds in the mature hemp in Jamaica. Then trying some. Ire Man... Barney Seeds tells his story of how he gathered his starter strains in the Afghani region and then inbreed them to get stronger strains... to where they are today. Read about the history of cannabis... It's facinating... Chuck.

UK, huh? No wonder you can't taste stuff. 👻 Jokes aside, they do! Even in the same strain, you can have slight variations of the terpene profiles that are barely noticeably oc, but they are there. Nature isn't Industrial, you never get perfect copies.

“Different strokes for different folks” All types of fruit, vegetables, and even animals to an extent have variations that differ greatly. Seems only right weed would follow suit

Cannabis flavour comes down to terpenes, kinda like the plant’s essential oils. Different strains make different mixes depending on their genetics. Stuff like how you grow, stress, nutrients, harvest time, all that can tweak the final taste too. Same reason apples or tomatoes don’t all taste the same. Nature + environment = variety. That’s why we love growing it.

Think about tomatoes, they all taste like tomatoes, but a roma tomato, black cherry tomato and a beefsteak tomato are all tomatoes, but have different flavour profiles and taste variations. Cannabis is the same, it all tastes like cannabis, but the subtle taste and terpene variations lead to the varying degrees of flavour profiles in cannabis, just like tomatoes. Hopefully this helps! Good luck! Your seedlings look VERY GOOD! 😍😍😍
