Will my plant die?

BlueBirdMotel

My baby looks sick :( the stem has completely fallen... I had to add soil around it as well as two tutors to try to get it back on its feet. I brought the plant closer to the lamp and turned on the fan to try to fortify the plant. I hope she won't die…

That looks like damping off – a seedling disease where the stem rots at the base and collapses. I used to try saving them too with support and extra soil, but if the stem feels pinched or soft at one spot, it’s done. Now I just toss them and start fresh – no point fighting it once that happens.

Stem is long, so you need more light, unlesss you recently adjusted that, continue to observe and adjust as needed. Substrate is lacking aeration amendments. Use more perlite or vermiculite etc... you want 50% in a high wwaer capacity medium and ~33% for something like coco -- they both add up to similar gas:water mixtures for the roots, which is the goal. That will also help damping off, if it is the case here. The medium will dry faster -- more accurately, the plant can drink it down faster with lesser volumes absorbed. Usualy if this is the case you'll have a miscolored stem right where it meets the 'soil.' Eventually it'd be mushy/slimey. If you don't see that, probabably just a weak stem from too little light applied early on. Keep it propped up and if that is the case, it'll be fine.

I’m sure it will live unless it dies within the 1st few hours after said event unless the stem got broken it should be fine don’t worry I’d suggest not blowing a fan directly on the plants when so small can cause humidity to drop on the leaves and plant to get shriveled and to much wind can cause the plant to fall over aswell Filling around the plant with soil is always a good option

Damping fungus is everywhere always. You provided a combination of inappropriate light and water (too little light and too much water). Sometimes you can get around this with airflow but that is more nuanced. This is like an immunocompromised person getting sick after not washing their hands. Something that is already there, that is opportunistic, was given the perfect parameters to happen. Been there, done that. She is done 100% compost
