tangerine dream auto still forming pistils and lots of clear trichomes 11 week 1 day. but all the leaves are turning yellow, and its not from lack of water or nutes. should i wait a couple of days in hope the trichomes turn milky/orange? seems like the plant is telling me to chop

Over ripe and approaching death...........harvest asap. New white pistils are a near death stress response. If you can't see any amber or milky trichomes by now, you never will.

lots of long white hairs -- either not plump yet or you got a late wave of grrwth that is behind the rest. The latter will come down to personal preference as to what you do. either wait for the late growth to mature or try to ignore it when you scope the plant. Also, your canopy is nearly dead. How exactly is it going to power growth and maintenance? It may not be adding leaves or getting bigger, but it's still requires energy to ripen and maintain. You let it fade too early. Probably because of some 'bro-science' nonsense you read online. It's okay to be lazy near the end, but don't starve it thinking it somehow helps the plant, lol. Energy (light) and building blocks (nutrients) are still needed. Can't build more THC and terps if it has no energy or building blocks to do so. this plant was in dire need of more nitrogen for quite some time as of this picture provided. Some plants won't amber up much. I like to go by glassy vs plastic looking -- the cloudy ones look plastic and clear ones look glassy. If it's all cloudy/plastic, it's good to go. Amber is a sign of degredation, not max potency. You do want 'some' amber because there are varying rates of ripening across entire plant.

Thats weird but autos can be weird. They have their place but 9 times out of 10 you're better off with photoperiod. The buds are showing that its more than a week away from finishing but the leaves are showing its done. Half the pistils are still white.I can't see that doing much photosynthesizing so it needsharvesting. You'vee got to be careful with yellowing leaves and mold around the buds so I wouldnt leave it any longer.A few days aren't going to make any difference there.

Fade is different in every example. Go off the trichome development. It will see you through to your best result. I feel like there is more premature harvest than late, you have made it this far stay the course

ps never grew her myself, just going off what I’ve seen around Reddit and other grow forums, seems to be a common trait with this strain.

Hard to say for sure without a diary or closer pics, but from what I see she looks pretty close to done growmie. Tangerine Dream autos love throwing extra pistils late, doesn’t always mean she’s still building weight. If most of your trichs are milky already and the buds feel dense, I’d start thinking about chopping soon. Letting her go too long might just give you a rough trim job with all that dead leaf for not much extra gain. Watch for calyx swell and trichs turning cloudy over the next days, but trust what the plant’s showing you. 🤞🍀♥️
