Only 5 fingers on my leaves after cloning

TRASHGROW
TRASHGROWstarted grow question 2 days ago
I've taken clones while the "mother" only had 5 fingers, the clones don't seem to be getting more than five either. Will they stay at 5 fingers or will a longer vegetative stage get them to more fingers as is common? Thanks in advance for your time.

Yes, if they're healthy, the clones will usually grow more fingers over time. Leaf complexity is tied to plant maturity and health. If the clones were taken young, it can take a few weeks of stable growth for them to shift back into full vegetative mode and start producing higher-finger leaves again. Light intensity, root development, and stress levels also affect it.

Sometimes you lose seration too... Weird growth can occur after cloning (or training). It's no big deal. Keep it healthy and it will get back on track. The number of fingers is less important than the trend in new growth. Once it starts to progress to more fingers, you know it's back on track which is the important part. This assumes there is nothign self-inflicted going on in regard to your fertilization.

Hey there are you saying you put the clones into flower that small yeah I would suggest growing the clones in a veg tent after taking clones they will take awhile to root and get going but will eventually pick up just be pat

Ive had a few clones that never get more than 5 fingered leaves. Im not sure the reasoning behind it, but it does happen.
